Bushnell University is located in Eugene, Oregon. Eugene is a place of vibrant commerce, innovation and artist expression where students find balance between urban amenities and natural wonder.
Nestled in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Eugene is approximately 100 miles south of Portland. A short trip from campus provides opportunities to walk barefoot among the sands of the Pacific Ocean, to ski the winter beauty of Mount Bachelor and Willamette Pass, to hike one of many local waterfalls or kayak in one of 249 lakes found throughout Lane County.

Our HISTORY
Bushnell University was established in 1895 by pastor-educator Eugene C. Sanderson and pioneer businessman and church leader James A. Bushnell and named Eugene Divinity School.
Through a series of name changes and a merger, the college became known as Northwest Christian College in 1934. On July 1, 2020, the name officially changed to Bushnell University.
