Our HISTORY

Bushnell University was established in 1895 by pastor-educator Eugene C. Sanderson and pioneer businessman and church leader James A. Bushnell and named Eugene Divinity School.

Through a series of name changes and a merger, the college became known as Northwest Christian College in 1934. On July 1, 2020, the name officially changed to Bushnell University.
