Many students don’t pursue studying abroad because they assume the cost is too high. However, finances do not need to be a barrier. With a wide array of help available, many students have studied abroad for the same cost or less than a semester at Bushnell University.
Bushnell University offers scholarships to select applicants for study abroad and global programs. Additionally, students can apply for study abroad scholarships available through Gilman International and other grant-providing organizations.
Common Financial Options
- Bushnell Study Abroad Scholarships
- Scholarships from other organizations (studyabroad.com, The Gilman Scholarship Program, Watanable Study Abroad & more)
- Federal Aid
Students can find more detailed information on financial aid and scholarships in the Global Programs & Study Abroad Portal on My.Bushnell. We recommend interested students meet with their financial aid counselors to further discover what specific options may be available.
Global Initiative
Bushnell University has joined the Institute of International Education’s Generation Study Abroad initiative to help more Americans gain international experience through study abroad programs.
IIE’s Generation Study Abroad initiative seeks to mobilize resources and commitments with the goal of doubling and diversifying the number of U.S. students studying abroad by the end of the decade
