  • Two of our esteemed Bible and Theology professors, Joshua Little M.A. and AJ Swoboda Ph.D., tackled a March Madness style Bible Bracket to determine who underwent the most personal transformation out of our scriptural contenders!

Watch the full version on our YouTube as they delve into the Word, birds, and the absurd (with a healthy helping of basketball references along the way)!

  • Beacons @ The Blazers! 🏀

Every year our Student Life team takes a group of students to go cheer on the Portland @trailblazers and enjoy some food on the way back! This year we had the pleasure of watching a nail-biting matchup on the court and then followed it up with In-N-Out burgers!

  • This week we welcomed two esteemed speakers to campus, Dr. Marcus "Goodie" Goodloe from Flourishing Church LA and Westmont College, and Dr. Paul Metzger from Multnomah Biblical Seminary of Jessup University, for our Becoming Beloved Community Spring '25 Symposium.

Both of our excellent guest speakers led conversations on "Excavating Culture", aiming to foster a deeper understanding of cultural dynamics and promote substantive on-campus conversations. We were incredibly grateful for both speakers insights and encouragement to our University and the Eugene community in continuing conversations towards a beloved community.

This event was part of the Becoming Beloved Community series of events initiated by the Board of Trustees and Office of the President at Bushnell University. This series explores biblical perspectives on racial reconciliation and important issues facing our community.
