NCU Resumes Classes Monday, March 30

Northwest Christian University’s (NCU) students and faculty begin classes on Monday, March 30, 2020. All undergraduate and graduate classes will be taught online for the remainder of the semester, ending Friday, May 8, 2020.

“After a challenging Spring Break, we are pleased to have everyone back in class,” said NCU President Joseph D. Womack. “The threat of the COVID-19, coronavirus has at times caused anxiety for many people, but it has also helped us to focus on the things that are most important in life: Faith, family, health, community, meaningful work, and education. As an NCU community we will continue to pursue wisdom, faith and service through the lens of a Christ-centered liberal arts education.”

Student support staff are maintaining regular business hours, while working remotely. They can be contacted via their individual email addresses as well as by phone. Students should refer to the NCU Coronavirus FAQ web page for information about tutoring, and library services.

“Perhaps, now more than ever, we need to connect with one another in class and after,” Womack said. “We are a strong community with light to share. Whether we working as a team on a class assignment or socializing with friends online, we are in it together. We are, after all Beacons.”
