Campus Ministry at Bushnell
We invest in the spiritual formation of our students so you can grow in your relationship with Christ. Our community participates in regular chapel and small groups. Students also practice our Christian faith by regularly serving our neighbors alongside local ministries and partners.

The Bushnell Beacons compete in 13+ varsity sports as part of the NAIA’s Cascade Collegiate Conference. Our unique “Tri-Athlete” model promotes academic excellence, character development and athletic performance.

Commuter Student Info
Commuter students at Bushnell can stay connected through athletic events, service projects, Beacon Nights, ASBU clubs, student leadership, and the Orientation Team — all designed to work around a commute rather than require dorm life. The common thread is that these touchpoints offer real belonging without needing constant campus presence. The key is picking one or two anchors, like Friday Beacon Nights plus an ASBU club, rather than trying to do it all.
Commuter students have real choices depending on their mood and workload — quiet focus in the library or Goodrich Hall’s new spaces, and a more relaxed, social vibe in the Commuter Lounge or Rug Room — so there’s a fit for almost any stretch of time between classes.
LTD’s bus and EmX network, paired with the Umo app for easy fare/schedule tracking, is the most convenient way for commuter students to get to Bushnell — with Park & Ride and bike-bus combos as flexible backups depending on distance from campus. It’s worth checking LTD.org directly for the exact route/stop nearest your location, since schedules and detours change periodically. There is also a secured bike locker on campus for those who like to cycle to campus.
