About Jocelyn
Jocelyn Hubbs serves as Vice President for Student Development and Title IX Coordinator at Bushnell University. In this role, she provides strategic leadership for Student Life, Athletics, Financial Aid, and Title IX. As a member of the President’s Cabinet, Jocelyn advocates for student success and helps cultivate a transformational educational experience that fosters spiritual formation, meaningful belonging, academic achievement, and holistic personal growth.
A Bushnell University alumna, Jocelyn earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Management and Master of Business Administration from the university. She also holds a Master’s Certificate in Higher Education Administration from North Park University. Since joining the Bushnell community in 1998, she has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Assistant Dean of Students, Director of Financial Aid & Retention Services, Assistant Vice President for Financial Services, and Title IX Coordinator. Her work has focused on student engagement, retention, organizational leadership, regulatory compliance, and developing innovative programs that enhance the student experience. In addition, she has chaired numerous university committees, including retention initiatives, the Critical Incident Response Team, and the Student Alert & Success Committee, and has served as Co-Chair of the Honor Our People Strategic Initiative alongside the University President for the past five years.
Jocelyn is married to fellow Bushnell alumnus David (MBA ’10). Together they enjoy spending time with their son, Matt (MA ’24), daughter-in-law Itzel, daughter McKenna, and their beloved German Shepherd/Lab mix, Miley.
