EUGENE, Ore. – Bushnell University’s Board of Trustees will confer degrees on over 120 students who have successfully met the graduation requirements to earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree during its annual spring Commencement ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, at 10 a.m. in the Morse Center. A Baccalaureate service will occur Friday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ross Evans Chapel.
Todd Salnas, CEO of Slocum Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, will deliver the commencement address and various students, faculty, and staff, chosen by student leadership, will deliver the baccalaureate address.
About Todd Salnas

Todd Salnas has more than 28 years of proven experience in the healthcare industry – most of which have been in leadership positions with a focus on strategy, operational improvement, market share and growth planning, patient experience, and clinical excellence.
Todd currently serves as CEO of Slocum Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, a large rapidly expanding specialty group with a long-standing relationship serving as team doctors for the University of Oregon since 1967. Most recently, Todd served as Chief Executive for the PeaceHealth Oregon Network, a $1 billion revenue organization serving the healthcare needs of the Mid and Southern Oregon regions. Prior to that, he served as President for St. Joseph’s Health System in Sonoma County, California.
Todd is Lean Green Belt-certified. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences from the University of Arizona, and a dual-degree master’s in business administration and health services administration from Arizona State University.
The main Bushnell parking lot next to the Morse Center will be open for parking, permit-free, beginning at 8 a.m. Overflow parking is available in the adjacent parking lot on Kincaid Street. City metered parking is located throughout the University district. Doors to the building open for guests at 9:10 a.m. Commencement ceremonies will be live streamed and can be viewed by visiting www.live.bushnell.edu.
