FreeSpring signature event for Bushnell University’s Church Relations
A collaborative project by Bushnell University’s Center for Leadership & Ethics and the School for Bible & World Christianity.
We are grateful for the generosity of those who care deeply about preaching and the church that makes it possible for this event to be free.

Event Schedule
10:30am Registration & Coffee (Hutchins Hall inside the Morse Center)
11:00am Keynote during Bushnell Student Chapel (Morse Center)
11:50am Lunch (Bushnell Quad)
We have a great Hawaiian style local food truck coming to campus, meal tickets will be given to you at registration in Hutchins Hall – or see one of the Advancement team members and they’ll hook you up)
12:45pm – Afternoon Sessions Begin (Evans Chapel, 2nd floor of Music Building)
1:00pm – Pastor Troy Dean, “Stop Preaching the Bible”
1:30pm – Dr. Doyle Srader, “Folly and Shame”
2:10pm – Pastor Michael DiMarco, “The Power of Absurdity”
2:40pm – Pastor Wes Wright, “Don’t Pastor Alone”
3:15pm – Dr. Melisa Ortiz Berry, “Lifelong Disciples”
3:45pm – Panel Discussion, “What is the Christian Response to Social Media?”
4:30pm – Event Concludes
This event is open to the public. We are especially excited to welcome our friends and ministry teams from local and regional churches around Lane County and Oregon.
Event will comply with the latest CDC and state recommendations for Covid precautions.
