Professor Brian Kaelin teaches a wide variety of courses in both the undergraduate Teacher Education program as well as the graduate program here at Bushnell. Some of those courses include Classroom Relations and Management, Adolescent Development, Technology for Teaching and Learning, Foundations of Education and Secondary Language Arts Methods. Professor Kaelin also serves as the program advisor for the Masters of Education program.

He is the 2009-2010 recipient of the Bushnell Faculty of the Year Award.

Brian served in secondary education for seventeen years, teaching language arts and a wide variety of elective courses. He has considerable experience integrating emerging technologies across content areas in K-12 educational environments.

Brian has served as a mentor teacher and Instructional Technology Coordinator, teaching practical and effective strategies to engage learners. Areas of current research include interdisciplinary project-based learning environments and preservice teacher identity development.
