Rebecca Tsuchiya is an instructor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program, bringing experience in clinical practice and counselor education.
Rebecca is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at Capella, further deepening her expertise in counselor training, supervision, and clinical practice.
With a specialization in working with children and adolescents, Rebecca has extensive training in play therapy and family systems modalities. She is actively working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), enhancing her ability to support young clients through developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches. Her clinical experience informs her teaching, allowing her to provide students with real-world applications of counseling theories and techniques.
