About Gene
Gene is a follower of Jesus Christ. His desire is to be a Bushnell team-player and to be a productive CMHC team member. Gene’s passion is to be in the classroom with students and strives to be a student-centered professor. He loves teaching CACREP Field experience courses, supervision, Group, Capstone courses and Diversity courses.
His journey is filled with adventures that include being a husband (35 years), father, family member, friend, business owner and a full-fledged academic. He is a Quinault Nation tribal member, a combat veteran, and a proud citizen of the USA. Gene’s hobbies include spending time on the Siletz River at his campsite and on the river with his wife chasing that elusive Nook.
