Golf Player Development Center at Pine Ridge Golf Club
Bushnell University and Pine Ridge Golf Club, located in the scenic Mohawk Valley of Springfield, Oregon, have entered into a partnership to create the premier NAIA collegiate golf training facility in the Pacific Northwest. Pine Ridge Golf Club serves as the permanent home of Bushnell’s golf program and is home to the Bushnell Player Development Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to support student-athlete development.

This partnership benefits Bushnell University, Pine Ridge Golf Club, the local community, and student-athletes. The Player Development Center helps Bushnell recruit, develop, and retain outstanding golfers while providing the resources they need to succeed both academically and athletically. At the same time, the facility strengthens Pine Ridge’s reputation as one of the region’s top golf destinations and helps grow the game of golf in the Pacific Northwest.
The new Center is located at the original Pine Ridge clubhouse, between the 12th and 14th holes. Pine Ridge is contributing to the redevelopment and maintenance of a new outdoor “short game” practice area (approximately 200 x 75 yards) that originally served as the membership’s driving range. The area includes multiple sand traps, a two-tiered green, and chipping and wedge targets. Bushnell is refurbishing the clubhouse interior to include a simulation driving range, putting green, bag room, locker rooms for men and women, office space, public restrooms, and a spacious team room. We are invigorated by the possibilities of this project and eager to begin.
