About Becoming Beloved Community

Becoming Beloved Community is an ongoing initiative of Bushnell University dedicated to exploring racial reconciliation, biblical justice, and Christian unity through thoughtful conversation and faithful engagement.

Rooted in Scripture and guided by the University’s commitment to Christ-centered education, the series brings together respected scholars, pastors, practitioners, and community leaders to examine complex cultural issues through the lens of the gospel. Each event invites participants to listen well, ask meaningful questions, and consider how biblical truth shapes our relationships with one another and the communities we serve.

Whether you attend in person or watch online, Becoming Beloved Community offers opportunities to grow in faith, deepen understanding, and pursue reconciliation with wisdom, humility, and hope.

Faithful Conversations That Matter

Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and community dialogue, Becoming Beloved Community creates space for conversations that are both intellectually engaging and spiritually grounded.

Topics have included racial reconciliation, Christian unity, civic engagement, faithful leadership, and the Church’s role in addressing today’s cultural challenges. Each gathering equips participants to thoughtfully engage difficult questions while remaining rooted in the hope of Christ.
