As Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies and Spiritual Formation in Bushnell’s School of Bible and World Christianity, Joshua teaches Classic Hebrew, Bible survey courses, electives on books of the Bible and related topics.
Joshua has a deep affection for both the church and the academy, and his passion is to bring the world of biblical and theological studies to bear on real life. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Languages from Moody Bible Institute, along with two Master of Arts degrees from Wheaton College, one in Biblical Exegesis, the other in Christian Formation and Ministry. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the London School of Theology, where his research is focusing on the topic of spiritual formation, emerging adults, and the digital age.
Joshua is married to Jennifer Little, Director of Residence Life and Student Services. They have lived on campus since 2015 and love the opportunity to be embedded in this community and to raise their son, Mason, in the campus context. When he’s not chasing Mason around, Joshua enjoys all manner of outdoor hobbies, including birding, running, hiking, camping, and playing mediocre golf.
