
EUGENE, Ore. – Juanita Metzler ’94, Senior Director for Conventions at Travel Lane County and member of the Bushnell University Board of Trustees, was honored as a recipient of Smart Meetings’ 2023 Smart Women in Meetings Award. She received this honor due to her success in bringing meetings and conventions to Eugene and the surrounding region.
Metzler has been promoting local tourism with Travel Lane County for 15 years, and she continues to grow her knowledge by pursuing additional certifications in event planning. She has earned the Certified Meeting Professional, Certified Government Meeting Professional, and Sustainable Event Professional Certificate designations.
