COMPLETE LIST OF NAIA SCHOLAR-TEAMS

EUGENE, Ore. – A new record of 16 Bushnell athletic teams have been selected as NAIA Scholar Teams, announced by the NAIA as part of National Awards Day this week. In addition, one team can claim their spot as an “Academic National Champion”.

All 16 eligible Bushnell University teams have been selected for the 2023-2024 season from among over 2000 total teams across the association. NAIA Institutions earn Scholar Team recognition for having a collective team GPA, including all players on the active roster, of at least 3.0.

The Bushnell Beach Volleyball team can claim the highest GPA in the country for their sport with a 3.74 team GPA. They beat out fellow Cascade Conference foe Corban University who had a 3.73 GPA.

Baseball, with a 3.42 team GPA, was the top baseball school in the conference and ranked No. 8 in the NAIA. A total of seven teams were among the NAIA Top-40 for their sport.
