About Nick
Nick Askew serves as assistant athletic director for communications at Bushnell University, leading communications and promotional efforts for Beacon Athletics. He provides information and services to the campus community, general public, and media while supporting the mission, brand, and image of Bushnell Athletics.
His responsibilities include the athletics website, social media, media relations, statistics, publications, press releases, and data management. Nick also oversees communications-related game-day operations, including webcasting and livestreaming, public address, and scoreboard operations.
Nick has led Bushnell’s athletic communications efforts since 2006 and has worked in collegiate athletic communications since 2000. He has received numerous professional honors for his work, including being named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Sports Information Director of the Year in 2017.
