About Pamela

Living under grace, Dr. Pamela Beilby joined Bushnell University in 2025 and is grateful for the opportunity to teach at a Christ-centered university. She loves working with students and teaching courses such as biochemistry, organic, and general chemistry and generally sharing the joy of chemistry and the amazing world God has created. Prior to coming to Bushnell, she taught at many colleges in the Willamette Valley. When time permits, she enjoys participating in research examining the role of glutathione and mitochondrial function in age-related neurodegeneration and developing related pharmaceutical therapies.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, music, walking around the Pacific Northwest and anywhere else she is able to travel to, and generally, most things Disney related.
