Women’s Golf Leads NAIA Scholar Team Honors

COMPLETE LIST OF NAIA SCHOLAR-TEAMS

EUGENE, Ore.
 – With the highest single-team GPA recorded in school history, the Bushnell Women’s Golf team led the way among the NAIA National Scholar Team honors, where were announced on Tuesday as part of the NAIA National Awards Day. 

For the third straight year, all 16 eligible Bushnell University teams were selected for the 2025-2026 season from among over 1400 total teams across the association. NAIA Institutions earn Scholar Team recognition for having a collective team GPA, including all eligible players, of at least 3.0.

The women’s golf team earned a 3.93 GPA, the first time a Bushnell team has finished a season above the 3.90 mark. They were the top GPA team in the entire Cascade Collegiate Conference, were ranked third in the NAIA among women’s golf programs, and fifth in the NAIA overall. 

Bushnell Men’s Golf had the highest GPA among Beacon men’s programs and also led the CCC with a 3.71 GPA. They were eighth in the nation among NAIA men’s golf teams.

The golf programs were among four Bushnell teams to lead the Cascade Collegiate Conference in GPA for their sport, joined by Men’s Indoor Track & Field (3.40) and Men’s Outdoor Track & Field (3.37). Ten teams were ranked int he top-five in the CCC with seven landing in the the top-two. In addition, a total of eight teams were among the NAIA Top-40 for their sport with four ranked in the top-ten.
